How to Graze Against The Machine
To Graze Against The Machine is to farm in harmony with nature. Even if you have a small backyard you can Graze Against the Machine by growing native species of plants that will provide you with the gifts of both food and medicine each year and increase the biodiversity of birds and butterflies.
You can even help to save animals from going extinct and help the conservation them by raising endangered rabbits, chickens, geese, pigs or other heritage breeds. You'll find a few ideas to get started below or do a deeper dive into Graze Against The Machine Regenerative Farming.

Graze Against The Machine Regenerative Farming Principles
All regenerative farming practices are liable to change. They must remain flexible to and adaptable to the changes of nature. What we’ve tried to establish at Ozark Akerz Regenerative Farm is a foundation of principles, humbly based on indigenous values of 7th Generation and Honorable Harvest. We take respectful guidance from local Tribes and Nations of Haliwa-Saponi, Lumbee and Cherokee for the knowledge that they choose to share about local plant species and their ethnobotanical uses.
There is a lot of info on the Ozark Akerz Regenerative Farm website about how we attempt to farm in harmony with nature. We’ve chosen a few posts and videos that will help give you insights into our principles and practices.
