You can become part of this grassroots movement by taking a photo of the sticker (and it's surroundings) and sharing on social media with the hashtags #gatmstreets #grazeagainstthemachine.
Graze Against The Machine Streets is a volunteer based, nascent grassroots movement in cities on 3 continents attempting to bring the true voice of regenerative farming to the streets while shedding light on crap farm policies. The street art scene in New Orleans and Memphis, Tennessee inspired us to launch #gatmstreets from our small farm in North Carolina, USA!
The Machine is Shady
The Machine is shady. We try to shed some light on their bull.
Graze Against The Machine Streets is a direct response to special interests hijacking regenerative farming for their own profit. They’ve done the same with sustainable, organic and natural. In reality, regenerative farming is just a new "brand" tying to define the complex and honorable practices that indigenous communities around the world have used regenerative practices for thousands of years. They are the true keepers of this meaning . We must all listen to the wisdom they choose to share so we can learn what regenerative really means.
The campaign is also directed at the government entities that support farm policies that favor big corporation interests instead of small and under-served farms that are trying to do the right thing to support their local community and the environment.
Watch for #gatmstreets in Bloemfontein, Cadiz, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Durban, Durham, Johannesburg, London, New Orleans, New York, Pensacola, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Washington DC, Windhoek and Zurich this summer.
